A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

Merryfield Apple Muffins. . . YUM!

3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
3 cups peeled, diced apples

Preheat oven to 325. In large bowl, mix first 7 ingredients with mixer on low for 3 minutes, continually scraping sides. Add apples. Spoon into muffin tins. Makes approximately 18 muffins. Bake for 25 minutes or until muffins are golden brown and toothpick inserted comes out clean.

In my 26 years living in this part of the country, this is the first real hailstorm that I can recall. We've had hail, but nothing to really talk about. This actually covered the ground and made it look like it had snowed. It did this in about 5 minutes. Before it began it was sunny, and now it's sunny again and you really can't even tell we had a storm.

Lego's. . . *sigh*

Melissa - I must tell you that your posts are terrible for my Weight Watchers. *LOL* You make me drool when I come over here. Those muffins look yummy!

And man I've heard so much about legos and the damage to feet and everything else that they ensue - I think I might have to continue to stear clear of legos. ;)

Muffins and hail and legos oh my! LOL You have the itty bitty legos! OUCH! We still have the duplo sized ones and they're far easier to avoid stepping on (though still painful when it happens) and much easier to clean up, too. LOL You really do have a lot of great sounding recipes. I'd be more inclined to try them if someone else were willing to clean up after me. I HATE cleaning up all the dirty dishes after baking. When I lived at home still, my mom and I had a deal that I would bake and she would clean. I miss that. LOL
