But I still took pictures of my delicious confection for you all to drool over anyway.

This was the piece I just ate and Mmmm it was good! But I have got to stop baking, it does nothing for my waistline that is for sure. For this pie I used a recipe I found over at Recipezaar.com called Yummy Crunchy Caramel Apple Pie which had rave reviews, and I have to say, I wasn't disappointed!

Looks yummy! I love to bake too, especially now that I'm home with the little one. I hope one slice was all it took to get past the emotions. Have a good weekend.
I don't know how you manage to do all that baking with kids underfoot. My kids destroy the house or each other if I even THINK of spending time baking. LOL And I'm with you, I tend to eat far too much of what I bake, so must be very very careful how often I do it!
If I were an apple pie eater, your pie would look extremely delicious. But I'm not, so I'll tell ya it REALLY pretty (because it does!) but I'll pass... LOL
